Mended murals

18-months in the making, spanning three offices on opposite sides of the globe and some epic levels of production hustle.
Skin health care for people of colour has long been an afterthought due to systemic racism and healthcare inequities, leading to worse outcomes and increased mortality rates for skin cancer.
Mended Murals is an initiative that aims to care for skin of colour and enhance access to skin health resources in underrepresented communities.
The project focuses on revitalising murals that have faded over time due to neglect, symbolising the overlooked skin health of people of color. Collaborating with local artists, and linking directly to Vaseline’s ‘See My Skin’ app, the project’s not only restoring culturally significant murals, it’s contributing funds to nearby health clinics and opening new ones.
