I’d love to share a link to that children’s book I’ve written. And the podcast series I casually recorded with a few friends that went super viral (watch this space). But they’re all imminent works in progress.

So this page is dedicated to other things I’ve done and enjoy doing outside of work.

Prior to entering the world of advertising, I was scribbling music reviews for a street press, managing a guitar store, playing in a band, and writing songs and short film scores. Once in adland, I needed an excuse to use all my gear. So I started recording radio demos, casting myself and whoever else was keen in the creative department.
That followed, surprisingly, to other VO work, and even writing and recording music to accompany the odd TV spot.

So here’s a bit of a selection. I’ll add in some non-audio bits down the track.

Voice overs

It’s always easier to sell in a radio/audio concept if you have a demo to play. Here’s a few, including some that ran ‘as is’ with me as the VO.

music

Tunes from the band days, and a snippet of home studio solo stuff.

PODCASTS

Apart from over-indexing on true crime and shows about crap movies, I’ve hosted Created for Creatives, a podcast series from the London International Awards.

AI

I’m an avid dabbler and explorer of AI visual tools, but have gone deeper into the audio and speech areas.

My interest really took hold after curating an AI-focused exhibition at Sydney’s Powerhouse Museum. The highlight was putting on a radio play that was written live by AI, co-starred an AI-voiced character, had a soundscape composed by AI, and the play’s artwork created by AI. All done in real-time in front of a few hundred people.

Currently, I’m co-producing and writing a podcast series which may or may not include AI production elements and plot threads.
