mended murals
Vaseline

Skin health care for people of color has long been an afterthought due to systemic racism and healthcare inequities, leading to worse outcomes and increased mortality rates for skin cancer.

Mended Murals is an initiative that aims to care for skin of colour and enhance access to skin health resources in underrepresented communities.

The project focuses on revitalising murals that have faded over time due to neglect, symbolising the overlooked skin health of people of color. Collaborating with local artists, the project’s not only restoring culturally significant murals, Vaseline’s also contributing funds to nearby health clinics and opening new ones.
